Kitt Peak
National Optical Astronomy Observatory
The world's largest collection of optical telescopes is located high above the Sonoran Desert in Arizona under some of the finest night skies in the world. Kitt Peak, on the Tohono O'odham Reservation, is home to twenty-two optical and two radio telescopes representing eight astronomical research institutions. I was lucky enough to take a business trip and slip this side trip in. Please visit Kitt Peaks web site . Also they have a Live Cam you can view with images that update every few minutes. Also see the nights sky ,live over Kitt peak.

The solar telescopes mirrors and one of the many domes.

More domes
Another dome and the different sized mirrors through out the peak. Wish I had the large one for my backyard!
